Artist Bio:

Jane Kamentser has been studying and creating art for the past 35 years.  The daughter of "Soviet-Era" refugees, her parents brought her to this country seeking religious and political freedom.  Growing up in Orange County, CA, Jane was privileged to be a private student of an artist and painter who attained her Masters of Fine Arts Degree at Moscow Polygraphist Institute and was a student of Mikhail Roginsky.  As a student, Jane was not only taught the strict techniques of classical painting but also to analyze and evaluate art, art history and design.  After graduating with a degree in engineering from UCI, Jane pursued a technical carrier in the Aerospace industry, while continuing to indulge her passion for painting and design. 

For the past 20 years Jane has been an ardent student of the written and oral Torah, the study of which is reflected in her art.  Her work reflects her passion for religious and mystical imagery and the use of painting and imagery to represent the flow of Devine guidance and love into our reality.  Specializing in organic abstract painting, garden, home and living space design, Jane believes that your surroundings, should inspire you and bring you joy.
